Some perfectly normal and intelligent americans, perhaps highly-trained, invested with a secret mission by the CIA to cross the border into Iran and pose as absolute idiots if caught, being forewarned that if they do get caught, authorities will deny any involvement or knowledge.
Not a good time to do that ( Hiking). If they go and when they go they may never be heard of again.
i hear ya–it’s not like that regions is nice looking–it’s brown, barren, nothing but desert for miles, oh and a war going on!!! many nicer AND safer places in the world to hike
A bunch of idiots that’s for sure. There are so many beautiful places to go, why go there? Just for notoriety. If they get caught or dead – tough. They placed themselves in a dangerous position. No one should have to bargain for their release, etc. Rot there.
