What would be a fun, extremley CHEAP vacation spot?

- How about heading west to Rapid City, South Dakota? There are many low cost attractions there to visit such as the Badlands, Black Hills, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse.
The state parks you pay for a pass so you can visit it many times over a week. When you divide the cost among several people it is cheap. There are cheap hotels on the state parks that you can stay in for a low rate or you could always camp.
Or, take a last minute vacation to a surprise location. Travelocity has last minute airplane and hotel deals that you book only 1-2 weeks in advance so to you it would be a surprise until the last minute.
- Drive to Kansas City and enjoy blues and bbq. Detour to the theme park at cedar rapids, iowa on the way down or back.
