what is the most economical, but fun, vacation a single mom can take with 2 13 year old girls?

I will have about $2000 to spend. I want to take the vacation next summer or during Spring Break. I know this is early but I need to start planning and saving. Thanks!

Come here to San Diego, CA
We have a zoo, Sea World, and TONS of shopping malls
We need more deals… like where do you live? How good of gas milage does your car get? How far are you willing to travel? How much will gas be next spring break? What are you and your girls into?
Yellowstone National Park. The Grand Canyon. Niagara Falls.
Where do you live? I wouldn’t want to suggest somewhere 1200 miles away. How about a water park or amusement park. Pick a hotel that has a pool and in room movies.

I would highly recommend a cruise. It is the most economical way to travel. It is overall all-inclusive. You pay one price for your stateroom, 24-hour food service, entertainment, and you get to see several exotic places in one trip. Most cruise lines have excellent teen centers that you will have to drag the girls away from. Teen centers have multiple activities ongoing daily as well as excursions, pizza parties, dances, etc. Not only will the girls be having a great time, a cruise will allow mom some much needed rest and relaxation. But on the flip side, you will enjoy your time together to reconnect. The teen centers are very safe, well attended by professional counselors and the girls must check in and out. You will have the satisfaction of knowing where they are at all times. If I can be of assistance, email me and I will be happy to work with you.
cabin and a lake
I would look at taking them to Six Flags or Cedar Point in Ohio.
