Capemay NJ many shops ferry ride to del and back. Bed and breakfast
boardwalks . capemay zoo, casinos

Lake George NY region. All the usual mountain vacation stuff but the area has great historical significance. Not too crowded either.
There are sightseeing cruses as well as dinner cruses with live music. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in town but all the peace and quiet you want outside of town. A few great pubs with decks that overlook the lake.
The town is family friendly with many activities for the kids. Dining ranges from fast food to fine restaurants and everything in between. There is also an amusement park nearby, and what I believe to be one of the last drive-in-movies on earth. There is also a water park. The fishing in Lake George is excellent.
