Acapuco, Ixtapa Zhihuatenejo, Cabo San Lucas,, CanCun, Mexico City, or Puerto Vallarta.
Cancun is not even that expensive, I’d say you both should go with all-inclusive resort, the meals and airfare with hotel is included.

I would definitely say Cancun over Puerto Vallarta. PV doesn’t have the nightlife. Cancun has amazing clubs and lots of grads take their graduation trips down there.
