what are some ideas for a dec. vacation that is cheap & fun. for 4 girls ages 18,14 and a mom?

you should stay in a cabin out in the mountains and take skiing lessons.
Big Bear would be nice in December, or Yosemite would be good too. If your thinking more coastal, Monterey would be cold, foggy and pretty wintery. Going more southern, there is Malibu and Hollywood. It’s really nice in winter, not too hot and not too cold. And of course, if you’re willing to go south of the border there is Mexico
