i can't believe people get so crazy to come here -- anyway i suggest reviews of your favorite disney classics that are rides -- toy story (one of the best new rides at mk), pooh, snow white, cinderella, peter pan, etc. did you know they just put johnny depp and cast in the pirates of the carribean ride?

animal kingdom features bugs life and lion king

if your kids are really that excited you might want to start an allowance/extra coin drop for buying souveniers. you are going to have to budget them somehow other than the fact a giant stuffed pluto would cost you an extra seat on the plane.

OH MAN! I have so much to tell you about it! But its so much, I can't. But, on

There's everything you need to know!!! I was just on there about 5 minutes ago for my family's vacation. There's everything for every age. And most of those things, a 13 year old and a 7 year old would love!!! TRUST ME! I'm 11 years old now. But I'm pretty much the planner of my family. I plan all the parties, and vacations. I count down the days also! Unfountuneatly, we aren't going until 2009!!! :)
But I still can't wait. I'll be 13 years old. My nieces will be 8 and 6 years old at the time. So I really have to get planning!!! On disneyworld.com, there's different sections. Big Kids, Little Kids, Teens, Something for Everyone, Magical Gatherings, Romance, and one more thing that I can't remember. Go to the different sections. There'll be rides, attractions, dining, and entertainment for every section. That's the only way you'll be able to see all of them. That's right. I said See. Some of them are just pictures. And some are videos. And each one will have a description, height requirement, and where it's located. No answers here will be able to give you all of that. I hope I helped.

I do the paper chain, too! Uhhh... 146 days for me!

I read on this website about how this mom would leave notes in her kids' lunch boxes or backpacks. They'd say, "In ___ days we'll be at the Magic Kingdom!" or "In ___ days we'll be having breakfast with Mickey and the gang!" I don't know... I think it's a cute idea.

I've read of some families watching a different Disney movie every night before bed until they leave for their trip.

Get the family to save all their change! One of my favorite parts about Walt Disney World is collecting all the different pressed pennies. And there are hundreds of them and they change fairly often! I've been saving up my change since I got back from my last trip in August. It's much easier to already have a baggy of coins to bring to the theme parks rather than have to find a change machine or get change at a register each time you see a cool pressed penny machine.

Maybe go for a short walk each evening to discuss the things you're going to do and to get your legs ready for all the walking you'll be doing around Walt Disney World.

I just spend my days planning. I can literally spend everyday planning my vacation until the day before I leave. It's so much fun! And I ordered the free Walt Disney World vacation planning DVD from the website, so I watch that just about everyday, too!

Hope I could help! Have a magical time!

We also use the paper chain to countdown the days (47 as of today!) Another thing we did was each kid picked out a calendar that is now hanging in their room, and we numbered the days until our trip, with the day we leave a huge Mickey head. If you try you can pick out some of your favorite attractions and restaurants, and then have a customized map sent to you, although I don't know how long it takes, since your going in less than a month.

Hope you have a great trip!!

Disneyworld.com has a lot of resources that will help you look at various things in the theme parks and resort areas. You can plan your trip, or just look at pictures of where you'll be. You'll find that utilizing these resources will not only help you bridge the gap in time, but you'll also be much more knowledgeable about what to do.
