It would be helpful if you could let us know what part of the country you are in. But here in the Pacific NW we have tons of mountains, lakes and the ocean near us. So camping is dirt cheap and a blast.
stay in town!
search on the website and find out where is the cheapest one. try to find the people from the Internet get to know them and they might find you a good deal for accommodation
