I have been searching and know there is zoo’s out there we want to visit but haven’t found much of anything else. We are interested in fun, kid friendly things to visit on the way and once we are there. Plus I would love to know where we might be able to see some wild mustangs if they still roam Nebraska??

Family Fun Center on 72nd and Dodge has lots of arcade games and activities for children.
Also you might try…
The Amazing Pizza Machine.
Freedom Park (naval history museum)
SAC museum.
Omaha Childrens Museum.
Western Heritage Museum.
The zoo is great and can take all day. If you like arcade games and mediocre pizza buffet in a fun setting, try the Amazing Pizza Machine in the Millard area, or skip the buffet and try the Family Fun Center near 72nd and Dodge.
We have a good Children’s Museum, Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, shopping in the Old Market.
Wild mustangs are in the far west of the state and generally scattered or on private ranches.
