I am married and live in Jacksonville FL and DO NOT want any suggestions in Florida PLEASE! I have been to all tourist destinations and the keys, and all about 500 times. If you could tell me somewhere fun and exotic or different I would definitely give you a star!

$5000 ..Wow the world is your oyster..I own a travel agency and if you were to walk in and announce a $5000 I would definitely have many ideas for you!!! Depending on your level of comfort and age you could do a month in Europe of South America or all summer in South East Asia..Vietnam is a bargain with plenty of sights, things to do, etc..So many choices !! By the way, Florida & Las Vegas are the last places I ever suggest, just sooooo common with nothing new to offer!!..A Baltic cruise could also easily be arranged with airfare, meals, etc for 5k !! Too many options!!!!

screw a vacation, use that money to get a Prada bag
    or teeth whitening
    or some Chanel shoes
    jewellery!
you should buy some gold bracelets
    or an hermes belt

you’re going to be mad but i’ll say it anyways. I’d go to the sea off the coast of FLORIDA (lol) and go shark diving!

Do you have a passport? Paris is not too long of a flight from the east coast of the U.S. Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triumph, Sacre Coeur, take the train out to Versaille, the Seine River, great food, good times!
No passport, have you been to Hawaii yet? Great outdoorsy things to do besides just lying on the beach. Hiking in the lava tubes on the big island, parasailing. Or if you’re less adventurous, just go to the Polynesian Culture Center and watch the hips of the fabulous dancers and eat the poi!
There’s the cold angle. Try snowmobiling around Yellowstone park. It’s still pretty snowy there this time of year. Chilly, but I bet you could find a hotel with a nice spa in Jackson Hole. Also brisk and beautiful is Banff in Canada. Ahh.
I wish it were me! Have fun!
